Credits are the unit of work in Leap. One balance covers scripting, narration, scenes, video, and the audio tools, and every action draws from it. The useful thing is that the cost is shown before you generate, not on the invoice afterwards.
What Things Cost
A short script of around 600 words costs about 405 credits. A documentary-length script of around 1,800 words costs about 1,215 — scripts price off target length, so the number moves with the length you ask for.
Narration prices off characters: 10,000 characters is roughly 12,000 credits. A standard image is around 1,000, and video generation is 5,000. Audio tools have a floor rather than a fixed rate — a sound effect starts around 200 credits and music generation around 3,600 — and the real figure moves with model, settings, duration, and provider usage. The final charge is always recorded in your history.
Allowance Resets, Packs Do Not
Every plan includes a monthly credit allowance, issued on your billing date and shared across the workspace. It resets with the billing period rather than rolling over. That is deliberate: a plan that accumulated credits could be bought once and then used forever, which is not a subscription.
When a month is genuinely heavier than usual, add a credit pack. Packs are spent only after your plan allowance is exhausted, so your monthly credits are not stranded by topping up early.
Expiry and Spend Order
A pack is valid for 90 days from purchase, and Leap always spends the credits closest to expiry first. While you have an active plan, the pack's expiry clock is paused, so your add-ons cannot expire underneath you while you are paying a subscription.
Bonuses, refunds, and credits allocated to you by a team owner never expire at all. Running out of credits does not pause or delete anything — your workspace and everything in it stay exactly where they are, and anything you have already paid for stays readable.
Plans, Limits, and Changing Your Mind
Starter covers the core pipeline: scripts, narration, content, and projects. Pro adds research, reference and channel analysis, images, the calendar, and localization. Studio adds video generation, packaging suggestions, teams, and priority support. Plan changes take effect immediately in both directions and are charged as you go — your current plan keeps billing until the new payment succeeds, so an abandoned upgrade never leaves you without a plan.
Cancelling changes nothing until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you can undo it any time before it takes effect.
Where the Money Goes
Subscribers pay through Bachs for plans and credit packs in NGN or USD. Plan renewals are manual, and access ends at the end of the paid period.
The ledger behind your balance is auditable: every deduction, refund, team allocation, and expiry is recorded rather than inferred from a running total. If a number on your history looks wrong, that record is where to start — and support@useleap.xyz will read it with you.
